Clearwater Station Bridge (Blue Bridge) will be closed from October 8 – 22, 2024 - Click Here for Details

We are advising the Clearwater Station Bridge (Blue Bridge) will be closed from October 8 – 22, 2024 due to structural components that require replacement.

Due to the nature of the bridge works, a continual vehicle closure of the bridge will be required from October 8–22, 2024.  The Ministry & Argo understands the significance & inconvenience of the detour via Dunn Lake Road, but due to the fact of structural components being replaced, the full closure is necessary.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project & the Little Fort Ferry will remain open.

The project planning has accounted for the BC Hydro outage on October 6th, and has delayed the project commencement with bridge closure to October 8th to accommodate. Please pass on this information to anyone you feel may need it , Argo will also be actioning a Message Board on the roadway leading up to the bridge structure for advance notice for stakeholders and posting the closure on Social Media as well as DriveBC
